ABB introduces Drive Exchange Service

ABB’s Drives Service team has introduced Drive Exchange Service offering to reduce the impact of unplanned downtime.

Utilizing real-time inventory and an exchange program team, ABB can ship a replacement unit within 24 hours of a purchase order receipt.

“We know that for a customer who is down, every minute is a loss of productivity and profit, possibly even raw materials,” said Michelle Schwery, Director of Sales and Marketing – US Drives Service, ABB. “The goal of the exchange service offering is to get them up and running quickly.”

The ABB Drives Exchange Service offering is an extension of the expanded drives services offering, which includes reconditioning service, preventive maintenance, and standard or premium repair.

All ABB Drives Exchange units will have a one-year complete drive warranty from date of shipment from ABB.
