Ogura Releases Magnetic Particle Clutch Animation Video

Ogura Industrial has created a new animation showing how electromagnetic particle clutches work.  The animations shows an exploded view of the component parts and how magnetized powder can transfer torque from the input to the output in a clutch.

Magnetic particle clutches are used on a variety of applications that require very fast response or torque control.  Common applications include card readers, film and wire tension and labeling equipment. Watch the animation at the website below.
