Timken Aerospace Drive Systems Achieves AS9110C Certification

The Timken Company says its Aerospace Drive Systems has received AS9110C certification. AS9110C is an aeropsace industry certification for managing and monitoring practices and procedures of aerospace maintenance organizations. Specifically, AS9110C covers the quality of manufactured jet engine parts, helicopter rotor head parts, aircraft quality gears, gearboxes and transmissions. Frank Irey, general manager for Aerospace Drive Systems, says the certification will expand the company's business opportunities.
