SKF recycle raw materials for protecting environment

Re-Made in Sweden! Every year, SKF uses 400,000 tonnes of steel, globally. Like all manufacturing industries, our production also results in waste. In collaboration with Stena Recycling, even the waste from our production can be made into new products. We are proud to announce that over 95% of the steel shavings from our Gothenburg factory are now being recycled into new bearing steel. ”This recycling chain is not possible without the close cooperation between the waste contractor and the steelworks," says Elizabeth Stadler,Environmental Manager, SKF Sweden.
